OVO Tools are available for purchase in two solutions: Licensed and Hosted. Both solutions of the applications have exactly the same functionality. In both cases, the application is a web based application and every feature available to you.

If you wish to get started quickly, choose the hosted solution and begin innovating. If you later decide to bring the solution in-house, we can transfer your data from the hosted solution to your licensed solution and you can continue to work as before.

Licensed: You will purchase the software and install it at your location. Our consultants can assist you if necessary.

Hosted: Installed at OVO with secure monthly access to the applications and data at any time via the internet.

You may be interested in housing the application and data locally and making a one time purchase of the OVO Tools for your team. If that is the case, the licensed solution is your best option. You will purchase the software initially, and have your team install it at your physical location making use of your database and webservers, already in place.

Installed locally using your network and security by your IT team or our consultant team

Configuration with your email server and other OVO tools in your environment for seamless integration.

Integrate with your LDAP Directory Service (such as Active Directory), to ensure one login for each user across your network

Minimum hardware and software requirements for installation

Hardware and software are required before installing OVO Tools, and present a possible cost to your organization. Prerequisite hardware and software requirements include (but are not limited to):

Server: Windows 2003 or Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Browsers: IE 5.5 SP 2 or higher; Firefox 1.0 or 1.0; Safar 1.5 or 2.0
Web Application Server: Apache Tomcat 5.5.9 or 5.5.12 or higher
Database: SQL 2005; SQL 2000; MySQL 4.1.15 or higher
Webserver: Microsoft IIS 6.0 or higher; Apache 1.3 or 2.0
LDAP Director Service: Microsoft Active Directory; Open LDAP
